F1 Sepang - More Friday Photos (VMM)

The first practice day on the Sepang circuit brought a positive outcome for VODAFONE MCLAREN MERCEDES. Both drivers fought for the first positions on the grid and for fighting the best setup to their single-seaters, in order to get the most out of the racing potential of the MP4-26 in the events to come. Jenson had encountered some issues in the FP1 round and placed 15th, but the team managed to solve them and after the FP2 session, the Briton ranked 2nd. Lewis had a productive day and didn't seem to struggle with the low grip of the rear tyres accused by other opponents. In the end, he came home 2nd in FP1 and 3rd in FP2, thus marking a strong, promising performance. Today, Hamilton reigned the Malaysian track and finished the last practice stage on pole position. Ahead of the qualifying round, the weather forecasts were indicating sharp showers will hit the Sepang circuit, but up to now, with the event going on, the situation stays dry. But who knows? The whole picture could change upside down in a matter of minutes.

Till then, check out more photos captured on Friday after you press the jump button!
