PREVIEW - Future Mercedes-Benz show car

2011 is a very busy year for Mercedes-Benz, as the brand celebrates its 125th anniversary and an impressive array of dedicated events and model premieres are about to take place in the coming period. Remember that back in February we were revealing a photo of an outstanding concept car, entitled (unofficially) Aesthetics 2025, pictured on the front cover of the Auto Motor und Sport magazine. Now, we came across more relevant and exact digital sketches, showcasing the model from the front and from the rear. According to Prof. Gorden Wagener, a lot of action is going at this on in the Mercedes-Benz design centers. Artists have received the difficult task of creating a brand new design philosophy and identity for the forthcoming models of the Stuttgart-based carmaker, an entire stylistic language that shall feature dramatic, memorable lines in the context of creating a unique, sophisticated sportiness that must instantly be recognized as a true Mercedes-Benz aesthetics idiom. Only few details are clear at the moment: we'll see a concept previewing the new A-Klasse (W 176) in April, either at Shanghai or New York motor shows, and an exceptional, daring show car (which could well be the one in the images), outlining the future design direction. See more after the jump!
