As part of the Ford anniversary marking the 75th Anniversary of the 32 Ford, ten icons (Bobby Alloway, Roy Brizio, Boyd Coddington, Pete Chapouris, Jesse Greening, Steve Moal, Rolling Bones, Thom Taylor and Troy Trepanier) made pedal car versions of their personal style of a 32.

Some of the cool touches these guys and companies put on the pedal cars, take you right past the notion that you are looking at a kids plaything. Louvered hood, cyclops air induction, big and littles, working gauges, working lights, a triplet of carb tubes through the hood, scallops, stance, mini Moon Eyes discs, upholstery, custom rims, custom hub caps... nothing is off the shelf.

Everything that was made to suit the design taste and aesthetic of the individual car customizer is a one off, right off the work bench (or maybe 4 at a time for the rolling stock) but just amazing for the context that these guys do not work on this miniature scale.

2007 Del Mar Goodguys

Foose built, love the rims. Goodguys Custom of the Year Finalist, Wes Rydell's 54 Bel Air was designed and built by Foose Designs. 427 powered, Art Morrison suspension, 19 and 20 inch Foose rims with a 24 gallon fuel tank.

Chip Foose

Some years from now Chip foose will be recognized as a brilliant businessman, and 2ndly for his fantastic career of designs. He is the youngest to ever be inducted in to the Hot Rod Hall Of Fame, 7 time winner of the AMBR award, 3 time Ridler award, and 6 time Good Guys Street Rod of the Year award.

He went through the prestigious Art School College of Design, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_Center_College_of_Design which is in Pasadena Ca. and which has had teachers like Ansel Adams, and graduates like designers Dick Teague (GM and AMC), Thomas Kinkade, and Syd Mead (Bladerunner, Aliens, and Tron).

Later he worked for Boyd Coddington as a part time designer and for J Mays (designer of the new Beetle and the retro Thunderbird), then went full time for Boyd, eventually becoming president and designer for Hot Rods by Boyd. Since Boyd is impossible for most everyone to work for (see any episode of American Hot Rod) and the business was on the edge of bankruptcy, soon went solo, and then made himself a household name for the Discovery channel show Overhaulin, and the many featured vehicle teamups for Mustangs, Camaro's, Challengers, Boydster II's. etc. http://www.chipfoose.com/gallery.aspx?LinkID=hplnk1
