Two new employees at Mercedes-Benz Cars Communication: Stronger focus on social media and lifestyle communication

Mercedes-Benz Cars has recruited two new members for its communication team, to provide a more comprehensive and targeted focus on addressing the growing demand for social and lifestyle media communication. On 1 July 2011, Charlotte Siegel and Wolfgang Würth joined the team led by Tobias Müller, Head of Lifestyle, Brands and Social Media Communication at Mercedes-Benz Cars.

Charlotte Siegel is responsible for lifestyle communication for the Mercedes-Benz and smart brands. She is the contact person for all topics and events involving these two brands, including TecDays and press trial drives, trade fairs and exhibitions, and individual interview requests. Charlotte was previously in the Marketing department at Mercedes-Benz Cars for around two years, most recently in the role of supporting marketing and distribution processes and market launch campaigns.

Wolfgang Würth is responsible for the social media area. His tasks include managing relationships with representatives of the new media, regular workshops and supporting bloggers at press trial drives and trade fairs. Wolfgang Würth has been with Mercedes-Benz Cars since 2008, most recently as a Project Manager in digital brands communication.

Melanie Graf remains in charge of overall brand communication for Mercedes-Benz Cars, lifestyle communication for the Maybach and AMG brands, and for Mercedes-Benz design – continuing the role she has successfully performed for the last three years.

The Lifestyle, Brands and Social Media Communication team will be on hand at the IAA in Frankfurt on 13/14 September 2011.
