Another milestone achieved at Sindelfingen: 400,000th S-Class model produced


Last week, the 400,000th Mercedes-Benz S-Class rolled off the assembly line at the Sindelfingen plant. This key facility of the German constructor has been a reputed site for the production of the luxury limousine since 1995. The milestone vehicle is a S 400 HYBRID in Silver mettalic paint job and fitted with state-of-the-art assistance technologies, such as: Night View Assist Plus, Adaptive Lights, Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST and Active Body Control with Crosswind Stabilization function. The model is a pioneer of efficient running, as it uses hybrid technology and Li-Ion batteries to achieve an unbeatable fuel consumption of 7.9 litres/100 km and a gas emission level of 186 g CO2/km.
