EARLY SCOOP: The New Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupé hits the web
We were aware the new C 63 AMG Coupé was going to be introduced towards the end of this month. To help things out, two images showcasing this model were released on the Dutch and Belgian websites of Mercedes-Benz. The C 63 AMG Coupe sports a powerful stance due to the addition of the modified front bumper, with larger air intakes for a better functioning and cooling of the naturally-aspirated 457 hp 6208 cc V8 powerplant, and the high-diameter alloy wheels in true AMG design. The sporty feeling is further enhanced by the sharp-looking, oval quad exhaust. To keep the car as close to the ground as possible, AMG engineers have installed an impressive rear diffuser and a discreet spoiler on the top of the trunk lid. The new model from Affalterbach will receive the latest AMG systems for improved road performance and handling, such as the 3-stage ESP, the direct steering and the sports suspension. The V8 engine, borrowed from the other two members of the C 63 AMG family, will be mated to the MCT SPEEDSHIFT gearbox to ensure the best possible use of the output and torque resources the unit offers to its customers. Expect more official details to appear the coming days.
