Where in the World Does Our Oil Come From?

About three-quarters of the oil used in the United States comes from outside the Persian Gulf in the Middle East. That's due to large North American producers like the U.S. itself, Canada and Mexico. The U.S. is among the world's leaders in oil production.
Almost 40% of the oil we consume is produced here at home, primarily in Texas, Alaska, California, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

Florida to go overboard on biking enforcement

South Florida has a motorcycle problem, and lawmakers are introducing legislation to show bikers that they'll go a long way to punish those who break the rules. Stunt riding (including wheelies), excessive speeding, and concealable license plates will get you a 10 year ban on your motorcycle license, mandatory jail time, and an impounded bike.

Video record your race, or slalom, or drift... from the hood of your car

http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/The-Sticky-Pod.htm

You probably want to create one of those cool videos where you’re burning down the highway with a viewpoint from outside the car.

The Sticky Pod might help: It’s a suction cup mount that can fix your camcorder to any flat surface, such as a car bonnet or door.

Prices start at $59 and go up to $129 for the pro pak, which includes a couple of mounting arms so you can orient the camera properly.
